I felt as though i have been thrown into one of those episodes in World's Apart in AXN.

Okayy, my trip yeah?
First day; HarbourFront, Singapore Cruise Centre

Before i went out of the house, i kissed my handphone goodbye.
Sad.

Board the Maxi Cab and around 8.15 reached HarbourFront.
Okay, i seemed to think we have excessive luggage, but heyy, that's my opinion.
So then we queue only to have a grumpy officer asking us to leave the line since we're wayy to early.
Okayy, fine. So had breakfast AGAIN.

Then ard 9.30 board the ferry.
There's video taken in the ferry, however, Abah ACCIDENTALLY erased everything he took on the first day of vacation.

Aright, i so reached Sekupang Ferry Terminal at 9.35.
No the journey from Singapore to Batam is not 5 minutes.
Im telling you in Batam timezone. It's one hour later.
I've just gone back in time!

Izzul was absurdly happy all the way.
Singing in the ferry, happily smiling at the immigration officer.
It's a sight to see, him holding his own passport but wayy too short to give his passport to the officer.

Yeah, so there met with Abang Danial.
He gained weight. Haha, and goes "eh udah besar ain sama syirah"
something like that. Kayy, Batam has changed. After 8 years, i see some changes.

Made our wayy to my grandmum's relatives house in Nongsa Laut.
VILLAGE. Mum and dad says, go Batam, but we will be staying in the village not hotel.
"WHAT? No, its alright i'll stay at home alone" but of course, i was forced to go.
Apparently, Abah wanted us to experience how different life is in city and in a village.
Understand and empathise, the difficulty and stuff. I have the inability to empathise. i am so sorry.

Kayy, they moved house, it's a bit smaller and not way better than the old house.
the house is built with sand as the base. very near the beach.

anyway, put our bag then stay ard and talk after that went out to have lunch and go shopping at
this new mall, very big mall, called Nagoya Hill.

I love and i miss A&W. i can still taste the Vanilla Milkshake, dear God, sweet loving God,
the Vanilla Milkshake was heaven man. Tastes so nice with ice cream as the topping.

Singapore should have A&W. Agree?
The milkshake cost 7.727 ruppiah. 7 thousand 727 ruppiah. which is around 1.30 SGD
Bloody Cheap yes?!

Alright, went back to Nongsa, and had dinner. ahh seafood lah. when you stay near the beach,
all you had to do is go fishing for food yes? Ate crab, prawns, fish.

and at night, Note to us all, dont take electricity for granted.
I flipped the switch and goes "ah shit, no electricity, i forgot"
so, i walked ard with torchlight and my ipod and book forever with me.
Nonsense, i know.

It was super dark, then one of grandma's cousin came and invited us to his shop, warong.
which is exactly infront of the beach lah. so abah, syimir and syirah went to the sea in the middle of the night hunting crab. I was standing beside granddad who is shining the torch at the crab.

i cant sleep. mind over matters. hey it works! i actually concentrated and managed to block out the sound of the rain pelting against the zinc roof top. Reason why i cnt sleep;

1) Mosquito. They love my blood.
2) Beetles. it was the size of your pinky! and it landed right beside my head on the pillow.
3) Vehicles. To be specific, motorcylces. What else, outsiders moving through the villages. Prostitution.
4) Uncomfortable. This is self explanatory, yes?

and when i actually fall asleep, the roosters proceeded to wake me up. at 5.30 in the morning! Batam time.haha, no shower, so i bathe and make do with whatever there is.

spend the rest of the day at the beach.entertaining guest/relatives of grandma who got wind of our visit.News travel fast.
and lunch!!! crab, fish and snails! GongGong, ever heard of it?ohh it was soo nice. okayy, then at 2 made our wayy home.

Home sweet home. I love my country.The first thing i did when i step inside the house, check my phone, what else?!i miss my phone, ELECTRICITY, computer, internet, my bed bed bed.
