"It is man's ability to remember that sets us apart. We are the only species concerned with the past, our memories gives us voice. They bear witness to history so that others might learn, so they might celebrate our triumphs and be warned of our failures."
- Mohinder Suresh, the hero that facebook says i am. ;) :::::::::::::::::::: Nov 17, Saturday. Went for cousin's engagement at the block opposite. Couldn't be bothered dressing up other than wearing baju kurung. The moment we reached there, aunt told me to quickly eat. and after that, crap around with the cousins.
lepas itu, the pihak lelaki tiba. and the whole ceremony commence. me; "oh my god, this is so intimidating!" syirah, zubaidah and i were majorly distracted with the vast amount of hantarans (dowry). "ehh, three cakes! and what is that gold mosque look like thingy?"
the food is awesome. i mean, when has food never been awesome to me? the cream puffs was love, man!
i have a thing called 'selective communication'. and i forbid you to ask me what the hades that is.
::::::::::::: Nov 18, Sunday it was a last minute thing. we all went to the beach. =) car couldn't fit everyone plus all the little cousins on extreme holiday mood, so, mum, dad and me cycled to pasir ris park! and datuk drove the contigents of little maniacs to the park.
awesomeness. mama's slow pace might have irk me at some point of time. in less than 2 hours, weather decides to play with us and it began to rain. heavily, please note.
the bestest thing that happened was; "if we wait for this rain to stop, we might as well sleep over here", i said. "alright, we'll just cycle through the rain then" mama suggested. "ohh, serious shits? ada lightning tau!"
*take note, the rest has went home with the car, and syirah has the cheek to said; "well, i'll see you at home then" [insert insane smile here]*
back to my story, mama, abah and me cycled through rain! it was damn freaking cool! it was so cold, i was shaking to the bones. i can't see cause the rain hinder my eyesight and blurred my specs. and every few seconds, i had to glance behind to make sure i didn't leave mama too far behind.
and when i reached home, datuk laughed at the sight of me. tsk tsk. and, shower without the heater. of all the time the heater decides to breakdown, it had to breakdown now lahh?
and i had kebab for dinner! now, this reminds of that hey there khalilah spoof.
