halfway point
oh yeah, i've got my television & dvd player back in my room. & i've also thrown away my secondary school books which were collecting dust at one corner of my room. i don't get why would i buy TYS & not use it. it's pretty dumb. i'm thinking of repainting my room & syirah suggested hot pink. i think she might have been driven to insanity by hunger at that point of time. maybe its just a plot to drive me out of the room. i can't imagine pink ugly ugly ugly walls. ferhan gave me some cookies for raya. i don't know the name of that cookie. i seriously don't know, i mean most of the time i don't even know what i eat. i can go like, "i had that gravy with sayur sawi for dinner". i didn't know the dish with the lungs, the long beans, the prawn and whatnots is actually called sambal goreng. i can be daft like that. blur faggot, according to nas. i've finished two books within less than a week. this is bad. seriously, bad. i've got The Man From Perfect (about finding your perfect man which might turn out not so perfect-oh yeah i know.. me reading this?) & also A Thousand Splendid Suns. it's a real good book. its not as sad as kite runner but equally good & equally heart wrenching. you've got a little insight on life in Afghanistan during the time of the soviets, the taliban, basically their civil war. in any case, if i'm a woman (wait, i am) who live there, i will commit suicide first. their laws are pretty intense, you know. they intepreted shari'a law in such a way i think even God wasn't planning for it to be like that. but who am i to say? how many days till raya? =)) i made a move at 10:17 PM
